This is the first screencast made by yours truly about the progress for this project. The idea behind the screencast is that we want to show you the current functionality without having you to check out the code and configure everything to see what’s happening. I’ve uploaded it on youtube: Again, any comments are very welcome!

EDIT: here are screenshots with an updated interface:

P.S. That’s not real Greg 😛

    Hi Kosta,
Thanks for the screencast. I like that you can filter by user. I think the buttons are neat, but I also worry about scalability with screen real estate there since they’re fairly large. What happens if you have 15 users? Or more?
Also, I realize this is a first implementation, but I wanted to note that you could use some more white space between the parts of the page. You have such a large screen (though I know that’s not true for everyone) that it looks very cramped on the left half.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with sorting the logs around events!

Please up the volume on the next screencast!

Irc integration is awesome though. I like how you handled the event log with irc, although I can see situations where the irc discussion happens outside of the window.
